You should tell him exactly how you feel. If he leaves and you don't tell him and something happens you will have to go through your whole life knowing you didn't tell him what and how you felt. You shouldn't be embarred or disappointed if he doesn't feel the same. But there might be a chance he will feel the same way you do.
