Is it selfish for me to not let people handle my newborn? How can I avoid it without sounding rude?

I think that you should have whoever wants to hold her, wash their hands and only allow them to hold her for a little bit. Maybe have a couple people hold her and then you can just hold her. Just tell them you would like to hold your baby girl; they should understand. I hope I helped!
