Is there a way to obtain magical powers? And also do witch spells really work?

Ik u must think I have problems or have been watching to much T.V, but I have wanted magical powers ever since I can remember. And I don’t mean like pulling a rabbit out of a hat either I mean like teleportation, telekinesis, premonitions. Or things like energy attacks. As for spells I mean like magical spells but u probably already knew that.
