Which is a better career? Anesthetist or Pharmacist?

Anesthesiologist pays more (usually 3 times as much or more) but takes a lot more training. That's 4 years of college, 4 years of med school, and 5+ years of residency - pharmacist is 4 years of college and 4 years of pharm school. Are you sure you didn't confuse anesthesiologist with CRNA (nurse anesthesiologist)? That doesn't take as much training (6 years), but doesn't pay as well either.
