Did Janis Joplin Sing Somebody To Love?

I have downloaded "Somebody To Love" and it says that Janis Joplin sung it. My Brother says that Jefferson Airplane sung it. Well looked it up online and it says Jefferson Airplane. And on a website I have found Janis Joplin song lyrics and "Somebody To Love" is listed under the songs and its the same lyrics. It sounds like Janis singing and my husband thinks so too. Can someone please help me? Does Janis Joplin sing "Somebody To Love"? In case you need it the Chorus goes: "Don't you want somebody to love, don't you need somebody to love, don't you want somebody to love, you better find somebody to love." Thank you for your help!
