How to go from scene to indie?

I already stopped wearin scene clothes&stuff. Also I'm doing this cuz I like vintage dresses, patterned tights, &earthy jewelry. It's been 2-3 weeks. I just want tips on how to down tone without being called a poser. I stopped teasing mah hair&&i'm wearin earthy vintage clothes. I need help with mah hair. What should I do to get rid of black hair (dyed)? &how should I down tone makeup th best way? Thnx
